the Students of Luxury China Attended the 2020 Beijing Fashion Summit-

On 18 September,2020, the students of the Research Center for Luxury Goods and Services of University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) attended the 2020 Beijing Fashion Summit - The Digital Innovation of Fashion Brands.

In the era of digital economy, the fashion industry is increasingly showing the ultimate trend for immersive experience and higher power of demand on consumptions. Digital technology has become the most effective means for major brands to outreach to the market, and hence the ability in digital innovation has become a challenge that fashion brands must pay attention to. It is also an effective "short cut" for fashion brands to build greater bonding with customers and customer loyalties. 
 

The empowerment from the digitization of fashion brands has the advantage to accurately capturing consumers’ demands and expectations, stimulating fashion design inspiration, and incubating the latest fashion concepts. Under the vision of digital innovation, it will drive digital media very effectively, carrying out smart digital marketing, repositioning the value of digital technology and recreating the innovative strategy of the fashion industry, which this digital trend will ultimately become the internal driving force and source of life for the growth of fashion brands.

2020 Beijing Fashion Summit - in its sub-forum on Digital Innovation of Fashion Brands, has gathered top-brains of enterprises and universities and has broaden the vision of the academic world and deepen the perspective of the industry. Both the academia and industry are committed to do their research in new theories and practices of fashion brands in digital innovation, provides forward-looking approach in analyzing consumer insights, as well as systematic industry research and innovative strategic thinking to help the fashion industry effectively expanding their digital media, builds up fashion brands and acquire a broader market space.

In the sub-forum, Professor Zhang Mengxia, the director of the Research Center for Luxury Goods and Services, presented a paper on "Digitization of Marketing Channels in Developing China's Second Hand Luxury Goods Market". In her paper, she shared with everyone her views on “the return of high-end consumption, the characteristics of China’s luxury market, as well as the insights and development trend of global luxury market in the future”. After the summit, Professor Zhang Mengxia accepted interviews from many media.

The 2020 Beijing Fashion Summit -- the Digital Innovation Sub-forum of Fashion Brands was successfully concluded.
